Page Load, Exit Intent & Scroll Depth Pop-Ups

In this article, we'll delve into the details of how our on-page popups work and the various triggers you can utilize to maximize their impact.

How to Set Up On-Page Popups

Select Page popup from under Page settings inside the builder.

Here, you will need to turn on the toggle Enable Popup, which will open the window to customize your popup. You can add any element from the menu on the left.

Configuring Triggers

Under Popup trigger, choose the one you want to activate. For each trigger, you can select if you want the popup to show up on desktop and/or mobile. If you want to learn more about hiding elements depending on the view, you can check out our article here: https://d.pr/gRyOXr. 

1. Exit intent:

For desktop: It will be triggered when the mouse leaves the tab or window focus (includes actions like clicking the back button or switching tabs).
For mobile: It will be activated when the user returns to the landing page tab after switching tabs.

2. Scroll:

Desktop/Mobile: The popup is triggered when the user scrolls past a specified percentage of the page length, allowing for dynamic engagement as visitors explore your content.

You can set up the percentage based on your preference.

3. Time on page:

Desktop/Mobile: The popup appears after the page load completes, ensuring that it doesn't disrupt the initial user experience.
Additionally, you can set a time delay after the page load completes before the popup appears, allowing for strategic timing based on user behavior.

The popups are triggered only once per unique page view, preventing repetitive interruptions for returning visitors.
They will also not be visible/triggered in the Preview of the page. You can test them on a live page.
The Heatmaps feature does not work on page pop-ups. It is only available for the rest of the page as seen here: https://d.pr/KkTxqu.
