Instapage Collections are the most powerful way to manage hundreds of high-converting pages from a single shared template. Whether you are localizing content for different regions or creating unique landing pages for dozens of ad groups, consistency is key.
To make managing large-scale campaigns even faster, we are excited to introduce the CSV Import/Export feature. You can now manage your Collection data in bulk using your favorite spreadsheet tool, like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
NOTE: This feature is currently available to a limited audience. Confirm or request access by contacting our Support Team through the app or at help@instapage.com.
How it Works
The CSV workflow allows you to export your existing Collection structure, edit or add data in bulk, and re-import it to generate new pages instantly.
1. Download your Collection CSV
Navigate to the Content tab of your Collection. You will see a new option to Export.
The exported file will contain:
Page ID: The unique identifier for each collection page.
Page Name: The name that identifies each specific page in your collection.
Placeholder Columns: Every text placeholder you have defined in your template will appear as its own column. Image placeholders will be skipped.
2. Edit and Expand your Data
Open the file in any spreadsheet editor. This is where the magic happens:
Bulk Editing: Update headlines, feature descriptions, discount codes, Q&As, and CTAs across dozens of pages at once.
Adding New Pages: Simply add new rows to the bottom of the spreadsheet. As long as you provide a Page Name and fill out the placeholder columns, the system will recognize these as new pages to be created. You can leave the page ID column empty for new entries, and the system will assign them an ID when you upload the file.
Editing Pages: Change any of the content on your existing pages while leaving the ID intact, and the Collection will update with your changes when you upload.
3. Upload and Sync
Once your data is ready, click Import in the Content tab.
Upload the file: We recommend using Export first to ensure you have a CSV template matching your Collection.
Validation: The system will check your file to ensure the columns match your placeholders.
Limits: You can upload up to 99 Collection pages
Confirmation: After seeing the validation summary, click on Update Collection to proceed.
Why use CSV Upload for Collections?
Speed: Stop entering data manually for every single page variation. Uploading a CSV with 50 rows takes the same amount of effort as uploading one with five.
Accuracy: Use spreadsheet formulas or "find and replace" to ensure your messaging is consistent across your entire campaign.
Collaboration: You can share the CSV with copywriters or translation teams. They can provide the content in a format they are familiar with, which you can then upload directly into Instapage.
