Instapage allows you to create popups and save them to your Popup Library for easy reuse across all landing pages. Existing popups can also be saved to the library and reused right away.

The Popup Library
You can find the Popup Library as "Popups" under Assets on the main left-side menu.
You can view existing popups as a grid or as a list, order them by date or by name, and use the search box in the upper left to find a specific one. You can use the filter to view only global popups, only regular popups, or both.
Click on Create Popup to start a new design and save it to your library.
The Popup Builder
The popup builder looks similar to our page builder, and the same elements are found on the left sidebar. You can define the popups' width and height on the right side of the builder.
Popup Default Fonts
The Popup Builder and Page Builder have a Default Fonts option on the right-hand menu while editing a popup. This works similarly to default fonts for pages. You can define fonts for headlines, paragraphs and buttons.
The fonts you set will be visible in the popup that you are editing or will be added to the page. Fonts can be set up for both regular and global popups.

Save existing popups
To save a popup you have already created within a landing page, enter the page editor and find the desired popup. Then, click on Save to my popups from the right-side menu.
Global Popups
Global popups can be created in the exact same way as regular popups—either through the Popup Library editor or by being saved from a landing page. In both cases, use Save as Global Popup to save the popup to your library.
- A standard popup functions as a template in your library. Inserting it on a landing page creates a copy of the library popup. This copy can be freely edited, and the edits are not saved in the library (unless you save it as a new popup).
- A global popup is useful in situations where you need to reuse the exact same popup on multiple pages, and it allows you to update all of them at once. Changes made to a global popup in the library or in the page editor will be applied to all the pages that contain it.
While editing a page, you can disconnect a global popup and keep a standard copy of it by using the Disconnect Global Popup button. Please note that, in this case, the changes will only apply to the page you are currently editing. You will be able to save the resulting standard popup to your library as usual.
Popup Conversion Goals
Form submissions
If Form Submissions are enabled as a conversion goal on a page level, then the leads submitted through a popup form will be collected together with leads for regular forms. Should you want to differentiate between them, you can add a hidden field to the form. To learn more about hidden fields, visit this guide: https://d.pr/NarWxI
Link clicks
When adding an Outside URL to a headline, paragraph, button, or image, you can click the toggle called Track as a conversion. This will enable that link click as a conversion goal on all the landing pages on which the popup is placed.
