Creating a CNAME record on Media Temple (

If you already have a website published on your domain, note that editing the “www” record will replace your website with the landing page. To avoid this, please create a new CNAME record and configure it using the guide below.

1. Below are the first steps you will need to take inside your domain registrar before coming back to your Instapage account to finish the process by adding your new subdomain in the Domains Dashboard, as explained in this article:

2. First, log in to your account at;

3. Click on Domains at the top of the page;

4. Click Admin next to the domain you want to add a subdomain to;

5. Go to Edit DNS Zone File;

6. Click on Add row, then enter the following information:

Name: what you want to name your subdomain; it can be www or any relevant name;

Type: select CNAME from the drop-down;

Data: in order to point to our servers.

7. Now just click Save Changes, and you're done.
